45 MEPs, among whom Rebecca Harms, signed an open-letter addressed to the Heads
of State and Government of the EU Member States, demanding stronger sanctions against Russia's anti-democratic activities.
The existing sanctions have been renewed unanimously, and in order to counter the human rights
abuse and efforts to undermine western democracies, stronger measures, such as a European "Magnitsky Act" are required.
