On 13-14 May, the European Union will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership with its partners Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. The programme in Brussels includes the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council with the Eastern Partnership, a festive concert at BOZAR and a high-level conference. Greens/EFA MEP Rebecca Harms, as President of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, will participate in the whole programme with her Ukrainian counterpart Borys Tarasyuk. Rebecca Harms will speak at the Council of Foreign Ministers and chair a panel of experts at the conference.

Background
The Euronest Parliamentary Assembly includes members from the European Parliament and the parliaments of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine. It was created to strengthen political, social and economic reform efforts in these countries through parliamentary exchange and cooperation. Belarus is part of the Eastern Partnership, but is not yet represented in Euronest by its parliamentarians.
