Today, the Joint Investigation Team in charge
of investigating the downing of the passenger aircraft MH17 over Eastern
Ukraine in July 2014, presented its interim results in an intermediary report

in the European Parliament, comments the findings of the investigation:
"The international team
of investigators has only presented their interim results. But they presented
undeniable evidence, that the MH17 aircraft was downed by a Buk missile,
belonging to the 53rd Brigade of the Russian Military, based in Kursk.
I
welcome the next steps of the investigation during which a list of perpetrators
will be established.
The people responsible for
the death of the human beings, who died in the crash of the passenger aircraft,
must be held accountable.
